My journey began decades ago when I started working at local Chicagoland vitamin & herb shops at age 16. I had the great privilege to work alongside some of my hometown’s most renowned Nutritionists and Herbalists. I was on a quest for natural solutions to my various health challenges, for which Western medicine had no answers.
During my teen years I had struggled with CFS (Chronic Fatigue Syndrome) & a myriad of allergies, both airborne and food. Via a referral I discovered the miracle of Acupuncture.
My discovery of Acupuncture (at 18) is the key that finally helped my body, mind, and spirit to heal, lighten, brighten, and become whole again. Not only did all of my symptoms disappear, I gained more energy, vitality, and a stronger immune system.
I became dedicated to my twice weekly Acupuncture treatments, and knew that this therapeutic solution would become my life’s true mission.
The Holistic Healing Arts helped me to heal on so many levels, that I felt it was my calling to give back and help others.
After attending Indiana University (Bloomington, IN) and receiving my B.A. degree in Anthropology, I began to research the top Master’s programs in the US that taught both Acupuncture & Herbology. I finally selected Five Branches University in Santa Cruz, CA, which offered the most comprehensive graduate program.
I spent the following four years studying and practicing (as an intern in our student clinic) Acupuncture, Advanced Techniques, & Herbal Formulas at the graduate level.
Under the tutelage of many Master teachers, I graduated from Five Branches University in May of 2004. It is with great joy that I offer the ancient holistic healing arts, and to be in service of others.
To this day, Acupuncture never ceases to amaze me with its powerful results!
